MB Motorsports headquarters, Motor Complex, is located along highway R8 half way from Vaasa to Pori on the Finnish west coast close to Kristiinankaupunki.
The team will compete 2005 with a Top Methanol Dragster in some of the FIA European Championship series Races and aim for a full series 2006. Other team activates will be exhibitions and different happening in Finland and the rest of Scandinavia.
The team was born in 2004 with team members from BB Racing, Smeds Racing and Skinnars Racing and technical advisors from Mad Bomber Racing. The crew members have a long history in Drag Racing actually dating back to 1980’s.

::: Mats Björklund-Driver

Mats is a 37 year old Racer from Kristiinankaupunki. He has been racing or involved in drag racing in different categories since the mid 80’s, with several victories and different medals under his belt. The carer top was as he won the Finnish Champion Series in the Competition class 1990 as an owner/driver of BB Racing dragster.
When he is not racing or working with the race car he is working at Wärtsilä as a Assistant Service Manager. He is married and live with wife and two children in Kristiinankaupunki.

::: Henrik Wilhelms-Team Manager

Henrik is a 39 year old and has been involved in drag racing since 1990. He used to be a member of the famous BB Racing. His main responsibility is the race computers and tuning. Away from track he is employed by Wärtsilä as General Manager, selling heavy duty Diesel engines and propulsion packages. He is living in Sepänkylä north of Vaasa with his wife and 3 sons.

::: Calle Evars – Crew Chief

Calle is a 39 year old and as the crew chief he responsible for the overall integration as well as a special task on the engine. He has been involved in dragracing 20 years both as crew chief for the Smeds Racing Pro Stock team but also as a driver for BB Racing in the mid 90’s. In private he is Service Engineer at Wärtsilä Finland. He is married and has 3 children and lives in Lapväärtti.

::: Kenneth Söderling-Mechanic

Kenneth is a 34 year old and his main responsibility in the team is the clutch and gearbox. He has been involved in drag racing since early 90’s with Smeds Racing Pro Stock team and also with the Calibra Racing Competition team. Of the track he works at TH tools, (former ABB tools). He is still a bachelor and lives in Vaasa, (girls here is your chance).

::: Kent Hautaviita -Mechanic

Kent is a 38 year old and his main responsibility in the team is assisting with the clutch and gearbox. He has been involved in drag racing since early 90’s with BB Racing. In private he works as a professional driver, driving a truck mainly within Scandinavia. He is also a bachelor and lives in Kristiinankaupunki, (girls here is your 2 nd and last chance).

::: Mikael Skinnars-Mechanic

Mick is a 32 old racer. He has been involved in drag racing since the day he was born as his father Per Allan Skinnars is one of drag racings “Grandfathers” in Finland. He has competed both as a Driver and Mechanic in Skinnars Racing and today he lives in Vaasa with his fiancé and their newborn son.
